I am a person that really likes to be actively involved in everything and enjoy problem solving while working on novel ideas!
Since the age of 15 I started learning algorithms and programming languages. This was done on my spare time with the help of a very dear friend. We were competing for a position in the Cypriot representing team that participates both in the Balkan and in the International Olympiads of Informatics. By the year 2004 both of us were on the team and remained there until 2006 where we disqualified due to age restrictions.
In 2006 I joined the University of Cyprus Computer Science department. While being actively involved with many other Societies and a Research group, I graduated in 2010 with a grade of 7.69/10. In 2012, I received a MSc degree with grade of 8.29/10 from the University of Cyprus.
I worked at the Data-Driven Multithreading Laboratory at the University of Cyprus for a few years doing research on high-performance computing. Following, I worked as a software developer at XM.COM and CeraNext LTD. Currently, I am a PhD Candidate at the KIOS Research and Innovation Center of Excellence.
